A little bit country

This was the second outfit that I put together over the weekend, with my darling friend's accessories, of course. It's always the best fun when you can go explore a friends closet and play dress-up. I tied a scarf to make shirt, and I love how it came out. The geometric pattern is so pretty that it really made the outfit and all of a sudden I felt like a country girl.

 I suppose you could say I went for a 70's country girl thing, what with the colors and wide-leg jeans. It's quite funny to see everyone wearing them now, I've had this pair for a few years and wore them even when the skinny jean was in trend. Either way, they're one of my favorite jeans.

Note: I just read the news about the 7.4 aftershock quake Japan received last night and I am truly sorry. I send all of my prayers, good thoughts, and hope. I can't imagine how devastating and scary their situation is. My family donated to the Red Cross for Japan & I hope other people do too. At times like this we really realize that no matter the nationality, we are all humans and should unite.
