the road to Tequila is a safe one...

We headed into Tequila this last weekend for a day full of fun and experimenting. Seeing the beautiful lush landscape on my way there, along with the oldies mariachi music really brought me back! And it reminded me why I love Mexico so much!

I left my heart in Ajijic.

We took a trip down to Ajijic a few days ago and it was paradise. The weather was warm, like a blanket wrapped around you, the sun had yet to come out, though it hardly seems like it, and the lush scenery was gorgeous! It was all perfectly complementary to a nice lunch and some great photography opportunities.

i'm old. really old.

Today was one of those magical days. We took a trip to Tlaquepaque this afternoon. I haven't been here in years, it is commonly known as the artists hub near Guadalajara. You can find a wide array of things here, from leather goods to carefully crafted pieces of pottery, down to some cute traditional peasant tops or dresses made of a fabric known as manta.

Going into this little town is magical enough with its historical architecture and drop dead gorgeous art, delicious food, and easy going atmosphere. Could it get any better? Yes, indeed it could. Read on and I'll tell you just what happened that was so ubber magical.

i forgot about you.

Just arrived! This door could be anywhere, right? Well its in Mexico! Its been a good while since I've been back but I am so excited to share with you why I love it so much.

We've only just got here and have been horrible about taking pictures, cue my title. But I promise it will be no more.

On another note, I loved this outfit for a classy day dress.

The first stop was at my grandpa's restaurant,  The Oui. Looking forward to posting more!

How's your summer been?
